In this 5-week series, you will learn foundational YBR routines that can prepare and support the body for an exercise practice with greater safety and awareness. Whether you’re looking to deepen your practice, recover from tension or injury, or simply feel better in your body, this class offers a powerful, guided experience to support your well-being.
*No experience needed & all are welcome. Come in comfortable, non-baggy clothing.
Instructor Bio
Katrina discovered Yamuna® Body Rolling (YBR) in 2021 while seeking relief from chronic pain and the physical toll of sedentary work. What began as personal healing quickly grew into a deep respect for the body’s capacity for alignment, resilience, and change.
As a certified YBR practitioner, Katrina has experienced firsthand how YBR can help release tension, improve posture, and restore connection with the body. She brings patience, compassion, and curiosity into every session, creating a supportive space for students to learn and build their own body awareness. Her goal is to empower students with practical tools and confidence to continue their practice at home, so they can feel more free, aligned, and present.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What will my first session be like?
You will be asked about your health and exercise history. If you have had any recent injuries or procedures, you should check with your healthcare provider to determine whether you should begin Pilates. During the session you will learn the fundamental mat exercises and you will become comfortable using the equipment. Please ask any questions that you have during the workout, and let us know if you are uncomfortable with any exercise. There are so many ways we can modify to fit your needs!
What should I wear?
Comfortable athletic wear and bare feet or grip socks are best. Clothing with a snug fit is ideal to see proper body alignment. Loose or baggy clothing can become a nuisance on the equipment.
Can Pilates help to alleviate back pain?
